The big cat is getting out and about in our city

DENVER (Nov. 20, 2013) – Milo the Lynx, CU Denver’s mascot, is getting around town these days, turning up in the most unlikely spots.
Since this is Milo’s first holiday season he’s on the prowl, hunting down the best Denver has to offer. And, where better to stop than for a visit with dancers of the Colorado Ballet peforming a holiday classic “The Nutcracker.”
It was quite the sight, big, hairy, flat-footed Milo with the petite, dainty ballerinas on pointe. The villian Mouse King was no where to be seen.
Luckily, Milo just happened to have a camera crew with him. That’s because Milo is being photographed at all of his holiday visits. The images will be included in this year’s University of Colorado Denver annual holiday e-card.
Milo’s keeping the details about his scheduled visits a secret, but in addition to the Colorado Ballet he expects to have his picture snapped in at least a half dozen more places. Look for Milo’s holiday photo album in your inbox the middle of December.
