CU Denver Student Life is hiring a student justice

DENVER – The primary role of the student justice at CU Denver is to interpret the Student Government Association (SGA) Constitution and resolve appeals from students. 

An opening for a student justice has come up and is effective immediately through the end of the spring semester. 

Current Student Chief Justice S. Aaron Torres said, “Although this position is a short one, it is an opportunity to see how SGA operates,  learn the different roles, and get paid while doing it.”

All applicants who apply for the immediate posting also will be encouraged to run for office again for the fall semester.

Applications can be found on the SGA Website or picked up in the SGA office in Tivoli 301.
 
Here are more details about the job:
–Time commitment is seven hours per week
–SGA meetings on Fridays 10 a.m.-1 p.m. (Judicial Council meets at 10 a.m., Senate meets at 11 a.m.-1 p.m.)

–Students can appeal a dispute with Student Government by utilizing the Judicial Council.The Judicial Council has created a new form to request a review of disputes with Student Government.  The Request for Judicial Review form can be found on the Student Government Association website (ucdenver.edu/sga then select “Branches, Judicial, Documents and Forms).
